We have developed a set of high level principles which will inform the decisions we make as part of the Board’s COVID-19 recovery planning. These demonstrate our continued prioritisation of the health and welfare of our staff, members and all others involved in the parole system.

Recovery Principles

  1. Staff and members will not be asked to put themselves in any situation which makes them feel uncomfortable or at risk.
  2. We will communicate simply, clearly and promptly.
  3. We will take views of staff, members and organisations we work with into account when developing new ways of working and manage resources effectively.
  4. We will follow government and health advice and guidance to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff, members and all others involved in the parole system.
  5. We will continue to deliver our statuory responsibilities.
